In the name of research we threw some parties in the summer of 2006. Putting on our lab coats and running a series of gruling scientific tests to create the perfect house party. Our friends loved it our neighbours did not!

• We wanted was the kind of atmosphere that you have when you go to a great busy bar.
• We wanted it served from a bar rather than a table or ironing board.
• We wanted cold drinks and fresh fruit
• And we wanted cocktails, how we wanted cocktails.
