Part of the reason we love working with drinks is being involved in the creation of new ones. Using the latest fashionable fruits, herbs and sexy new spirits combined with traditional techniques, we share with you our knowledge in balancing the flavour whilst maintaining a sense of adventure and a healthy respect for the classics.
You will be introduced to the methodology of mixing drinks by making a selection of twists on classic creations. We will demonstrate the art of a balanced drink and why it is so important. You will be invited up to the bar to hone your new skills and to partake in the drinking of the cocktails we make. Our bartenders extraordinaire will give you tips to master your shake and pour, as well as our Liquor Studio Cocktail Manual to help you recreate the experience when next faced with a well stocked bar.
After the basics have been covered you will be let loose behind the bar to create your own drink that may one day join the ranks of the classic cocktail! You’ll get to create it, name it, and serve it to the group. Using all of your newfound skills you could end up with the next must have drink for the season. The drink voted the best of the day will be immortalised in the Liquor Studio gallery and will win the creator a cocktail kit to continue their journey in becoming a master of mixing.
